Review: Divaderme LASHExtender (Brush on Lash Extentions)

On completion of my Pro Makeup Course from celebrity Makeup Artist Talal Morcos, I received this Divaderme LASHExtender as a gift from Barbieshopq8. It's a great hype at the moment in Kuwait. I had seen a lot of Kuwait Makeup Enthusiasts raving about it and comparing it better that getting on Eyelash Extensions. I was like...hmmm... I need to try this out. Upon checking the price, I was like...never mind..I better get Benefit's They're Real Mascara! Now I'm glad that I received it as a gift, lol, so I get to try it!

So here is what the packaging looks like, very basic black box package with all the needed information written on the case itself. I thought that there might be an instruction manual paper thingy, but there was just 'Directions' on one side of the box. First time seeing the packaging I was like dayymmm..this is huge! But...check it out below.

Well the bottle is pretty small compared to what its packed in. It says 9ml or 30oz of product. Now I have never had Lash Extensions done ever in my life, I just have worn Strip Lashes. So I was not exactly sure of what the product feels like or what the consistency of it would be. I had imagined it to be like a normal mascara (Creamy, messy and with a mascara wand), with enormous power of Lengthening and Volumizing, Of course! But that's not what i found out upon opening the bottle....

I had to literally place a tissue on my table to avoid the mess it was creating all over the place

At first when I saw the wand, it didn't at all looked like a mascara wand. It looked like a lip gloss blunt-tip applicator and I was like WHAT THE....but after sprinkling off the product from the wand, the regular wand was slowly appearing. Phheeewwww!

Now comes the part when I had to use it, I was kind of scared to what a mess it would create on my face from all the fallout! (As if Mascara wand hitting your face wasn't a pain enough!) So here's what the Directions says:

As you can see, the product is actually a cluster of really small and fine black fibers which cling on to your wet-mascara-applied lashes making them look longer and volumized.

Application and Usage:

I used Bourjouis Paris Volume Glamour Mascara which I got 2 days ago. I decided to use this one because as the directions say the Mascara should be new and not old dried up one, as  I already had a new mascara it was a plus for me. But if your mascara has got old, then you might need to use a new mascara as it works best so.

I applied the LashExrender just very finely to know its actual capabilities, and truthfully it was not bad. If you build up the product with 2 or more coats, you will get a more voluminous and longer look.

It easily comes off normally as any other mascara using Eye Makeup Remover.

My Thoughts:

I think the LASHExtender is definately a replacement/alternative for Lash Extensions. It is cheaper (Temporary Lash Extenions costs KD25+ in Kuwait), less time consuming and easier ofcourse that getting Extensions on. But for a daily usage....nah! It wont workout for ladies who are on the run always, but definitely a good stuff for creating special looks.

What I didnt like about it is that It takes a lot of time to apply (as I'm always in a hurry and late), way too messy and gives a hard time to get rid of the fibres all over your face! I suggest to not wear any makeup while using this so you can just use a Wet Wipe to swipe it off.
